Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using Dikt, you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, do not use the software.

2. License

Dikt grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the software for your own purposes. You may not sublicense, sell, or distribute the software.

Trial

The 14-day free trial gives you full access to all features. No payment method is required during the trial.

BYOK License

A one-time payment grants a perpetual license to use Dikt with your own API keys. Updates are included for the current major version.

Premium Subscription

A recurring subscription that includes proxied API access (no API keys required), priority support, and all updates. You may cancel at any time; access continues through the end of your billing period.

3. Payment and Refunds

Payments are processed by Stripe. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all purchases, no questions asked. Contact support@dikt.app to request a refund.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the software
  • Use the software for illegal purposes
  • Attempt to circumvent license validation
  • Share or resell license keys

5. Third-Party Services

Cloud transcription, AI cleanup, and Premium proxy features use third-party APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic). Use of these features is subject to those providers' terms. We are not responsible for third-party service availability or accuracy.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

Dikt is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the software will be error-free or uninterrupted.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from use of Dikt is limited to the amount you paid for your license in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may terminate your license if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, you must stop using and delete the software.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice in the app.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of your local jurisdiction.
