Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Dikt, provided by Jyvin Company (“we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading, installing, or using Dikt, you agree to these Terms. If you disagree, do not use the software.

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the software for your own purposes. You may not sublicense, sell, or distribute the software.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all purchases, no questions asked. Contact support@dikt.app to request a refund.

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the software
• Use the software for illegal purposes
• Attempt to circumvent license validation
• Share or resell license keys

If you publish transcriptions to a public profile, you also agree not to:

• Publish unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or sexually explicit content
• Publish other people's personal or confidential information without their consent
• Publish content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or other rights
• Use a profile to distribute spam, malware, or deceptive links
• Claim a username that impersonates another person or organization
• Scrape our public pages, feeds, or API past the published rate limits, or evade them

Dikt lets you claim a username and publish transcriptions to a public page at dikt.app/u/your-handle. Publishing is optional and stays off until you turn it on. Published transcriptions are readable by anyone, are distributed through our RSS feed, JSON Feed, and public JSON API, and can be indexed by search engines. The Privacy Policy describes exactly what that exposes.

You keep ownership of what you publish. By publishing it you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, and display that content and to distribute it through those feeds and interfaces, for as long as you keep it published. Unpublishing an item or taking your page offline ends that license going forward; it cannot recall copies third parties have already taken.

You are responsible for the content you publish, and you confirm you have the right to publish it. Publish only what you are willing to make permanently public.

Every public profile carries a Report this profile link that opens a support request, or you can email support@dikt.app. We review reports and may, at our discretion, unpublish individual transcriptions, take a profile offline, release a username, or suspend or terminate an account — without prior notice where content is unlawful or causing harm. We do not pre-screen published content and are not obliged to monitor it. Where we act against your account we will tell you why unless the law prevents us.

Cloud transcription, AI cleanup, and Pro proxy features use third-party APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic). Use of these features is subject to those providers' terms. We are not responsible for third-party service availability or accuracy.

The software is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the software will be error-free or uninterrupted.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from use of Dikt is limited to the amount you paid for your license in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may terminate your license if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, you must stop using and delete the software. We may also suspend or remove your public profile and unpublish your content, as described in section 6. You can stop publishing, take your page offline, or delete your cloud history yourself at any time from your dashboard.

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice in the app.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of your local jurisdiction.
