In short: Jyvin Company (“we”, “us”) collects minimal data and never sells it. Your audio and transcriptions stay on your device unless you explicitly use cloud features. You can disable all telemetry in settings.

Data We Collect

When You Purchase

Stripe processes your payment. We receive your email to deliver your license key. We store: email address, license tier, purchase date, and Stripe customer ID.

Anonymous Telemetry

The desktop app sends anonymous heartbeat pings every 6 hours containing: an anonymized machine identifier (SHA-256 hash, not reversible), app version, OS version, and feature usage counts. No audio, transcription text, or personal data is ever included. You can disable this in Settings → Privacy → Enable Telemetry.

Support

Support tickets collect your email and message content.

Data We Do NOT Collect

  • Your audio recordings
  • Your transcription text
  • Your API keys (stored encrypted on your device with Windows DPAPI)
  • Your settings or preferences

Third-Party Services

Stripe — Payment processing. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
OpenAI (optional) — Cloud transcription and AI cleanup. Subject to OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
Anthropic (optional) — AI cleanup via Anthropic. Subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
Supabase — Database hosting for licenses and support tickets. Data stored in the US.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting privacy@dikt.app. We will respond within 30 days.

Children

Dikt is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy. Material changes will be noted on this page with an updated date.
